I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues, I am going bald again next month for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, a charity that raises money for kids with cancer. My seventh date with the St. Baldrick's barber's chair is fast approaching: Friday, March 12, at Fado's Irish Pub, 100 W. Grand Ave. in Chicago. What better way to celebrate my 23rd birthday than by shaving my head? Losing my hair is part of the annual St. Baldrick's Day celebration, in which men and women volunteers nationwide shave their heads to raise pledges of financial support for cancer research. The head shaving displays solidarity with kids who have cancer, many of whom lose their hair during chemotherapy treatments. Please consider an online donation of whatever size your budget allows and know that I will be grateful for your support. Of course, all of you are welcome to join me in the barber's chair. Afraid to lose all your hair? Consider the positives: It's for a great cause. You will look like Vin Diesel. It's for a great cause. No more bad hair days. It's for a great cause. It cuts down your shampoo spending. It's for a great cause. You can sell ad space on your scalp. It's for a great cause. Better than that combover. And did I mention it's for a great cause? Thank you for your consideration! Paul
