I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Tipperary Hill

Hi my name is Colin Gooley and I am a 10th grade student at Baker High School in Baldwinsville New York. I am 16 years old and I'm also an 8 year survivor of cancer. When I was 7 years old, I was diagnosed with Osteogenic Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. Due to this type of cancer, I had to have my right leg amputated. Now, I play lacrosse, golf, and snowboard. I kept my active life despite the complications I've gone through, so always remember to live life to its fullest! My older cousins became involved in the St. Baldrick's Foundation when I was diagnosed and they have done it ever since. This is my first year as a participant, but the last couple of years I was able to shave my cousins and uncles hair off. As a cancer survivor, I realize how important fundraising is and how much it helps towards the research and treatment of cancer patients. This is a great organization and it is very fun to be a part of. I am on team Tipperary Hill which consists of my father and grandmother too. If you can help donate, I know it would be much appreciated by many cancer patients.
