I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Jamie's Gents & Gals

My son, Christopher, battled cancer for 27 months before succumbing to the disease. He fought a very courageous fight and always fought with a smile; how can I do any less in his memory than support childhood cancer research? Right now St. Baldrick's is funding 3 Fellows, 1 Scholar, 4 other grant recipients, and several Children's Oncology Group laboratories for neuroblastoma. Chris is laughing at me from heaven, just thinking about my bald head again this year, but he is proud of what we are doing as well. Anything that I can do to prevent another parent and child from going through what we went through is energy well spent.
