I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

2010 Greetings! With this new year there is pain and suffering around the globe, it's everywhere we turn and many have already given to make people's lives better and or to help save them while their own lives seem a bit uncertain. There is no shortage of causes or people that need support and I'm amazed with the generosity of every day folks that give of themselves and their treasure to make this world a better place. I've decided to have my head shaved for the continued wonderful effort St. Baldricks is making towards finding the cure for Childrens Cancer. Enda, Susan, Mike and Steve are just a few people that have given much to this cause over the years and contribute in many ways to support such a wonderful organization yet today. I've been touched by their example of caring and sacrificing and the results are truly amazing. I'm not sure why anyone would pay to see me bald as a "cue ball" but I'm willing if in doing so it encourages others such as yourself to do what you can to rid children of this dreaded disease. I lost my Mother, Vivian Nixon to cancer and while she was taken way too young she was able to have children and grand children with an amazing husband- my Dad. I'm blessed to have two healthy daughters in Shannon and Nicole and it's my prayer that one day should they have children, that this dreaded disease will have been wiped out with the research that's funded by this effort- made by the thousands and thousands of caring people such as yourself. God Bless You! Sincerely, Stephen
