I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I've been rather lucky in not having a lot of childhood cancer in my family life but with that said I have encountered it with many friends and loved ones so I guess not so lucky. However, I've lost many family members/friends (adults) to cancer. The beginning of this year I lost my stepmother (Barbara Ivy Graham) to cancer and she will be in my thoughts-I'm dedicating this year to her, Team Joey: http://www.teamjoey.org/index.htm and little Mannix: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=info&gid=205309099213. This is a great cause so please, come on out for a few pints and/or just donate on my head. I've made the decision to stop shaving my head from here on out. Last year, I managed just over half my goal between the website and additional donations at the event. This year, I want to hit my goal. Last year my friend, Britt-Lee, tagged along for support and ended up shaving her head for over $1000. This year, I'm hoping my pal, Jamie, will come and do the same.
