I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Friends, family, colleagues and strangers (friends I just haven't met yet), Thank you for coming to check out my St. Baldrick's page. I will be undergoing a severe case of sudden hair loss on March 12, 2010. Thankfully my baldness will be caused by clippers at the hands of a barber. Thousands of kids every year aren't so lucky. They experience sudden baldness (and other not so fun things) at the hands of chemotherapy and radiation treatments in an attempt to cure their cancer. It can be a pretty brutal process, yet these kids face it head on with courage and determined strength. I've decided to put my hair on the choping block in order to help these kids and their families, if only a little. I'd really appreciate any support you might be able to offer, and so would they. I'll be sure to post my "after picture" so check back after the big event! Dave
