I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Takin Names & Shavin Heads

You heard it right - I am choosing to go bald, in empathetic support of those with cancer who do not have a choice! Those of you who know me well are aware that I have kept my hair very short for over 20 years. Based on the recommendations made by my students I have forgone my every-two-week haircut ritual since the day before the first day of school. On 3/13/10 it will have been 7 months since my last haircut and I expect the change to be a drastic one. It is my hope you can find it possible to help me support this worthy cause for kids. No amount is too small, even a dollar can and will make a difference. To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone. Thank you for your support!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
