I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Brave and Mighty

It is once again time to get bald for Childhood Cancer Research. Please join me in my 9th St. Baldrick's, as I honor the memory of my little brother, the brave and mighty Erich Andrew 'Andy' Beck, August 31, 1997 - February 25, 2005 Hard to believe I've done this for 9 years now. I can remember back in 2001, when my stepmother told me about the first ever Pittsburgh event, the night before it was to take place. I drove out to Fox & the Hound that Friday, met Beth and my life changed forever. I don't have an exact figure for what I've raised over the years, but it is way more than i would have dreamed of when i sgtarted with just my personal $20 donation that first year. I am proud to see how the event has grown over the years, and the loyal team of organizers and volunteers we have who come back year after year to help out. Also, all the people who make a donation to see me bald once a year for so long, and the friends and family who have, one year or another, come down to the event and either just hung out or actually joined in and buzzed their domes. a few off the top of my head: Tim, Amy, Johnny, EC, Tommy, Caroline, the Hess girls, and Team Kane last year: you are all a large part of why i do this!! Thanks in advance to all who make a donation on my dome, and to all our wonderful volunteers and organizers; we couldn't do it without you!!!
