You heard right! I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research!
I attended this event last year and must say it was truly incredible and very moving. For those who don't know, I lost my best childhood friend, Alex Dean, in 7th grade to brain cancer. Four years later on March 24, 2001, I experienced the tragic passing of my oldest brother, Bryce Randall Ward, due to chemotherapy complications from two brain tumors. Bryce was only 20 years old when he left this world.
I share these personal stories with you because myself like thousands of others, have lost a loved one from a battle with cancer. Any donation you can contribute to this admirable cause would be more than appreciated. Even if you have to skip just one Subway or Chick Fil-A meal, trust me, you will feel better knowing that your $5 went to this great cause. For those on an "extremely tight anti-donation budget"...remember no donation is too small.
To make a donation, click on "Make A Donation" or donate by mail or phone.
Thank you so much for your support!
Sincerely,
Sean Ward
