You heard right! I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! I attended this event last year and must say it was truly incredible and very moving. For those who don't know, I lost my best childhood friend, Alex Dean, in 7th grade to brain cancer. Four years later on March 24, 2001, I experienced the tragic passing of my oldest brother, Bryce Randall Ward, due to chemotherapy complications from two brain tumors. Bryce was only 20 years old when he left this world. I share these personal stories with you because myself like thousands of others, have lost a loved one from a battle with cancer.
