I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: AutoTrader.com

This is my third year raising money for childhood cancer. Fortunately I am not doing this for Benjamin and Emma's sake. I'm also not in it for the free pint and haircut even though these are great perks. The Saint Baldricks Foundation helps raise money to find a cure for childhood cancer. So why is Matt shaving his head? A few years back, I was the webmaster of my rugby clubs website. Every year they raise money for this great cause. I use to donate my time by promoting Saint Baldrick's on the site and realized how good it felt to help such a great cause. Three years ago I became a shavee and have donated my head ever since. Another reason for donating my head is a good friends of ours family where struck by childhood cancer in the seventies. David Nathaniel Terry Junior was one of the first children in America to beat Leukemia. Twenty-three years later Dave taught my son how to fish on his second birthday. Thankfully Dave is still in remission today.

My Roles:

  • Shavee
  • Team Captain
