I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 46 Mommas Shave for the Brave

In less than 2 weeks I will be shaving my head. That day I will be taken back in time to September 6, 2007. The day I was told my 3 year old daughter had cancer. The days following were such a blur of surgery, chemo, a list of meds I had never heard of, ng-tubes, vomiting, hair loss, chest tubes, and more. The things I have learned since that day break my heart. Our children need more research to find a cure and to have that cure not leave them with a lifetime of side effects. I chose to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation because they solely support childhood cancer and use their funds wisely in determining what reserach to fund. Join me in my support and donate today. And after I shave watch for me and the other 46 mommas on Stand Up to Cancer, September 10 at 8pm eastern simucast on all major networks.
