I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Tulane SOM Class of 2011

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children and adults who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for cancer research. The way we are raising money is by getting our friends and family to sponsor us to do it. Last year participants were able to raise over $63,000 locally and $17.5 million nationally. Tulane has received research grants from St. Baldricks the last couple years, so our efforts end up helping the New Orleans community! I'd love to have your support - please feel free to give any amount you'd like. My goal is to get as many people as possible to give at least $1 - it all adds up! Please feel free to forward info about this cause to anyone else, or join in on the shaving if you like. (There are events in almost every state.) Thank you for your support! *Also, the date at the top says March 18th... I am unable to make it to New Orleans during the week so I am actually doing it on March 21st at One-2-One Salon on Oak Street for their event.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
