I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I am doing this to honor all of those who have to go bald to the special events in their lives because they are fighting to live for those events. Too many people take too many things for granted in the world these days. Often, kids & teenagers are told to be thankful for the roofs over their head, the food on their table, and the education that they receive, but people don't tend to tell adolescents to be thankful for the more simple things in life, like having hair on their head. This is my chance to show that I really am thankful for the things that I have and to show all the kids who have cancer around the world that I think about them each and every day and that I am fighting with them for their cause: the freedom to live a normal life without illness.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
