I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Children are amazing human beings. They bring joy to our lives through their inquisitive nature and innocent curiosity. They have an amazing ability to mimic and learn from us especially the things that we would prefer they not mimic and learn. Children are 100% the source of our joy and happiness. Watching children grow, learn and interact is truly an amazing thing and such a huge part of our lives. If you really watch a child closely we can learn about happiness and truly experiencing life and the amazing journey that it really is. Remember as a child those great experiences and how they really impacted each and every one our lives? I can still remember what a great feeling it was learning how to tie my own shoe all by my self. It really is the simple things that make a difference as a child. Throughout my life I have had many great experiences such jumping off of cliffs on a snowboard, racing BMX bicycles, college graduation, my first kiss, drag racing cars ect! The most beautiful experiences of my entire lifetime are the ones I am living right now watching my two children grow and learn, it's just like living childhood all over again. That is why for the past two years I have decided to do my small part in this fundraiser and shave my head to benefit childhood cancer research. If you are able to do so, please donate to the cause so that perhaps a child that may otherwise not have a chance to experience what a great journey life really is can have the opportunity to really live, as I feel I do each and every day.
