I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Tulane SOM Class of 2012

Hello Friends and Family - yes, this will be the first time in my life I shave my large noggin - IF the below goal is met. This is a big deal for me as I have somehow avoided shaving my head my entire life - for instance, I endured plenty of ridicule to be one of the two junior varsity football players who shirked the team-wide head shaving. Now, however, I have an opportunity to use my aversion to shears to drum up support for St. Baldrick's. Please contribute only what you can comfortably donate, even if it is only reassurance that I will not look too goofy or that my ears are not THAT big.... after the shaving day you can rest assured in your gift on two levels: a) you helped out a great organization and cause b) you will get a kick out of my after photos Thank you! UPDATE: so you folk reached my first goal of $500 in less than 24 hours. excellent - thanks! I am raising it to $1300 to encourage others to contribute, but don't worry - the head will be shaved.
