I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Tulane Class of 2010

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Tulane Class of 2010

That's right, I'm shaving my head! I mean it's pretty short anyway. In the past year I have had three patients with cancer, a 2 year old with retinoblastoma, a 4 year old with AML, and an 18 year old with ALL. In the entire previous ten years, I only had three patients with cancer, an ALL, a neuroblastoma, and a non-hodgkins lymphoma. All of them are survivors. And I am proud to know children and families with such courage. So I am shaving my head in solidarity with their fight against this mean, cruel monster. CANCER! WATCH OUT! Doctor Reita's in the house and she is not gonna let you win!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
