I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Most people know that I once worked as a Child Life Specialist at Schneider Children's Hospital in Queens, NY for several years with a few of those years working in Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology focusing on Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation. I love everything about my photography business now here in Colorado but I do miss the work that I did in the hospital with the most incredible little individuals. I still want to be able to give back, keep myself grounded and do some fun things that help in the on going research for Pediatric Cancers. Plus, secretly, I have always wanted to shave my head and now it's for a good cause. I shaved my head on March 15th, 2008 in honor of and some in memory of, all the children that I worked with at Schneider Children's Hospital whether in the Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology Clinic or Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit. A couple of the children that I worked with at Schneider I found already involved in this organization which you can read about in the children I'm honoring below. NEVER TO LATE TO DONATE!!! This site will still be up for a little bit and they are still accepting donations from past events!
