I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Dear Family and Friends, Almost everyone knows someone who has been touched by cancer. One of my very good friends, Brad Weisberg, is a childhood cancer survivor. I met him my sophomore year of high school, a year after he was diagnosed with cancer, in chemistry class. I had just transferred from a different school and knew hardly anyone. Brad was my chemistry partner but soon became a good friend. When I found out he was in remission, I was taken aback. Brad had the sunniest, most optimistic disposition of anyone I had ever met. He was (and still is!) always there to help me or just make me laugh. Brad is probably the bravest person I have ever met and I'm so thankful for our friendship. He is now a freshman at University of Miami and doing well. Please help me and Spanish River High School raise money for the fight against childhood cancer! This is my first year participating in a St. Baldrick's event and although I wish I had the courage to shave my head, I am collecting donations. My goal is $100 but I am hoping to raise more. Any amount you can donate makes a difference! To make a donation, click on "Donate Online" or "Donate by mail or phone". Please email this page to your family and friends. Let's work together to find a cure for childhood cancer! Thank you for all of your support! -Faith
