I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: BOLLA Cycling Team

Another year has passed and like every year, it was filled with the all too common unexpected. One major unexpected, life changing moment came when Julie announced she was pregnant. We are expecting our first child together this coming June. The banners will read, "It's a girl!!!" We are looking forward to meeting our new soul, Alexis Jane Lerner. With the arrival of Alexis comes the hope for a long, healthy and happy life for her. This is what every parent hopes for their child. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case. Some parents may have to endure extreme hardships and challenges life throws at them, such as childhood cancer. This is why I feel even more motivated than ever to help out in any way I can, for you never know when you could end up on the other side. Team Bolla raised more than $10,000 last year for the St. Baldricks Foundation. Through the help of corporate and private donations, we raised more money for any first year fundraiser in Louisville. This year we want to exceed what we accomplished last year. We are all working as a team to battle this childhood disease.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
