I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: DCSO Investigations

Please make a donation on my behalf to support children's cancer research and together we can beat this terribly ugly disease. Any amount helps; and if it made you feel good to give then I want you to feel exceedingly good so give some more! Another option is you can tell a friend or two about this event and they can donate, I am not picky I will take anybodies money. Thank you to all that have donated to this event, it is much bigger than we ever imagined. I am now over $1,000 so the mustache is gone. Fortunately God gave me a lot of hair so what will go next; shave the chest, shave the legs, WHAT? The next mark is $1,500 so stay tuned and find out. Once again, I just want to say thank you for giving. I would also like for all of you to say a special prayer that once the hair is gone we don't find out that I have the ugliest head ever. Thanks! UPDATE******March 16, 2007 We had an awesome turnout today. Although the website will not be updated for several days I would like to let you all know that this event has raised over $40,000 for children's cancer research. That is awesome! Once again, I want to thank everybody that supported us through financial donations, praying for us, or just getting the word out. I got a little carried away with the whole being a 'St. Baldricks whore' and telling people that I would do anything for donations. I put out the word that I would shave my chest or legs or whatever. Since I raised well over my second mark of $1,500 I allowed my barber to shave my chest. While this was happening my son, David, threw down the dare for me to wax my chest. Not being too bright I said, 'bring out the wax!' Folks, let me tell you something her, you don't ever want hot wax on your chest let alone this type of wax. This hurt like a son-of-a-gun. Thanks a lot David! Like I said earlier I raised a lot of money, over $1,700. I want to give a special thank you to my cousins that donated to this event. Although I have not seen any of them in over 20 years, and some much longer than that, they came through huge for me. We all share a bond that cancer has taken very important people in our lives and we want to eradicate this terrible disease. So thank you Anne Minks, Carleen Wojciechowski, Pam Murphy, Maureen Furlong Weber, David Murphy and Paul Murphy. A guy from work is putting a ton of pictures from this event on his personal server so I will send everybody the link once he has it up and running. Take care and thank you all. Brian
