I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Please make a donation on my behalf to support childhood cancer research so that all children diagnosed with cancer will have a better chance for a cure. Last year, my friends donated $280 with only a 4 hour notice. This year, since we have more than a 4 hour notice, I have set my goal this year for $1000 !! I know this is an aggressive amount, but we must reach into our hearts and pocketbooks and give to these kids who need us. Don't think of your gift as a lump-sum amount; instead think how little it cost per day. Here are some daily rates based on some common donations: $20 is 05.4 cents/day (that is one soda a month) $50 is 13.7 cents/day (that is one Latte a month) $100 is 27.4 cents/day (that is one cup of coffee a week) Oh, did I mention it is tax deductible? To make a donation, click on "Donate Online" or "Donate by mail or phone." Thank you for your support! We should be thankful we are blessed and we don't need this money raised for own children. I know I am. Thank you and Bless You, Robert
