Can you spare a cup of coffee? How about one cup of coffee a day, for a week? That's all it takes to make a difference. Giving up $2.00 per day for a week adds up to a $14 donation. If you and one dozen of your friends / family / coworkers will give up coffee for a week, you have all made a $175 difference. Will you choose to make a stand for something larger than all of us? Take a stand, make a difference, and change the life of a child with cancer. In 1962, when my two year old cousin Danny Pritzlaff was diagnosed with a brain tumor, his chances of survival were slim. Danny underwent brain surgery and cobalt treatments to try to beat the cancer. On Mother's Day, 1963 Danny got his angel wings at the tender age of three. I was only two years old when Danny passed away, and my only memories come from seeing pictures of all the grandkids together. That does not, however, lessen the power of the memories of parents, grandparents, aunts, and siblings. Thanks to the support of men, women, and children over the past 40 years, boys and gilrs like Danny now have a 70+% chance of surviving a cancer diagnosis. Your support now will bring about the day that no child will ever die from cancer. Take a stand. Make a diffference. Donate to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Thank you.
