I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Syd's Heroes

hi ya'll! cancer is the last thing a parent wants to hear from the doctor about their child! this great foundation is to help find the cure so all u have to do one day is go to the doctor to do sport physicals or something like that! theres a saying i have always heard "a parent should never have to bury the child" and this is what the foundation is trying to not let happen. our team "syd's heroes" is very special to me. my little cousin sydney was diagnosed with the disease called alpecia almost right after the first time i signed up to do st. baldricks. her disease causes her to lose her hair without warning and this will be with her for the rest of her life. she now wonders (when she loses her hair) why she has no hair and the other kids do? wtih shaving my head i know that i have brought hope to the kids with cancer knowing that the money we raise will help find a cure and i know itll make sydney laugh that her cousin has no hair anymore.
