I am shaving to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

When I was young, I visited my grandfather across the country to stay at his beach house in New Jersey. It was such a great time and he taught us to catch crabs off the docks using nothing but a long string and a chunk of chicken meat. It was such a great experience and he was such a fun guy, and to learn that his life was in danger when he was diagnosed with leukemia made living through that time scary.
While I may not have had the power to save my "poopa", there is still hope for those out there fighting cancer and I wish for the hair parting ways with my scalp to be a message that as a community, we support each other and wish for the best for everyone, especially those who have been struck with ill-fortune like those fighting cancer.
