Hello! and welcome to my fundraising page :)
I am so excited to be joining St. Baldrick's this year by cutting and donating my hair. After facing my own cancer diagnosis at 17, this organization has come to mean so much to me and is one I am incredibly proud to be a part of. Unlike the profile picture on my page- where I had just finished treatment and am shaving my brother's head at my very first St. Baldrick's event so many years ago- I have longer hair now! And I'm ready to chop it off for one of my most favorite causes.
St. Baldrick's is leading the fight in pediatric cancer research, funding the most promising research with the hope of helping kids with cancer live long and healthy lives. I am so grateful to be almost 10 years cancer free, and I hope to help create a world in which someday all kids can say the same. I would be so appreciative to any and all donations towards my goal. No amount is too small; even a little bit can make an impact.
Thanks for reading and feel free to check out the website to see all the ways this organization changes lives of kids with cancer.

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. This year, I’m joining thousands of others to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.
Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
