Can you think of anything more important than saving the life of a child? One of my amazing 8th-grade students has been fighting the impossible. Stephen has endured more challenges at the age of 13 than most of us will throughout our entire lives. I wish everyone could know Stephen. He is courageous, intelligent, humble, caring, funny, and 20+ more incredible adjectives. He started raising $ for St. Baldrick's YEARS before he was diagnosed himself. He continues to champion for others and does not back down. He is a warrior who will make a difference in this world.
