I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: MWU Faculty & Staff

Dear family and friends,

I'm at it again! I am shaving my head again this year to raise awareness of childhood cancers and the need for continued support for research into treatments and cures. I'm joining faculty, staff, and students at Midwestern University and the Downers Grove community to support this great cause. It's a truly great, long-standing event. I'll be shaving the hair that I have left all the way down to my shiny dome.

Cancer has also affected me personally. My mother passed too early from Ovarian Peritoneal Cancer, and my father is currently facing a battle with pancreatic cancer. Shaving my head and making financial contributions to organizations like St. Baldrick's Foundation are small ways that I can honor them both and provide support for my dad as he continues his treatments with positivity and courage.

For those who have supported this cause in the past, thank you! I know there are many worthwhile causes to choose from when considering charitable donations. I'm asking again for your support by contributing to this shaving event. Your donation can truly save lives. This year's Midwestern University Shave for Change Fundraising Event is on March 13, 2025, from 5-9PM at Empire Burgers + Brew in Lombard, IL.

Can you help to fight cancer by supporting cancer research? Thank you so much!
Bryan
