Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
As a father of two, Chief of the Fire Department, and an Air Force Veteran Firefighter, I’ve always understood the importance of teamwork and sacrifice. What started as a challenge among friends 25 years ago has since become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids' Cancer. This year, I’m stepping up to do my part. I’m joining thousands of others in shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research, and I’m asking for your support.
Did you know that 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% will face severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they turn 50.
Each shaved head and every dollar donated creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer. As a father, this cause resonates with me on a deeply personal level, and as a firefighter, I know firsthand the power of community coming together to make a difference.
Your donation will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country through the St. Baldrick's Foundation, the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants.
Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
