Help Fight Childhood Cancer

Cancer has touched the lives of so many people I love, inspiring me to take action. This year, I’m raising money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, with my business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi, which funds research for cures and safer treatments for childhood cancer.

I’m sponsoring Owen, a teen from Raleigh, NC, who was born with Neuroblastoma 4S. After a worrisome start, he is now thriving and classified as "No Evidence of Disease." But many children his family has met through UNC Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic and St. Baldrick’s haven’t been as fortunate—Neuroblastoma has a 50% survival rate.

While Owen’s prognosis was hopeful, many kids face much harder battles. That’s why I’m raising funds—to support research that gives every child a fighting chance. Please consider donating to help bring an end to childhood cancer.

Within the next few weeks, I will be participating in challenges to raise money, so if you want to see me jump in the creek, smash an egg on my head, or do any crazy thing you can come up with, keep a look out for that!

Many people in my fraternity will be shaving their heads if they reach their goal. If I meet my goal of $1000, I will be chopping off 4 inches of my hair!
