I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TACKLE

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TACKLE

Back for my fifth year with Team TACKLE to raise money to fight childhood cancer. Below is the history of Team TACKLE (Teachers Against Cancer Killing Little Educatees) and what it has accomplished thus far. Thank for all the past and present support!

Team TACKLE is back for year 19! St. Baldricks is an organization that raises money and awareness to fight childhood cancer (for more information check out StBaldricks.org). Nineteen years ago, a group of teachers formed Team TACKLE. They went several months without haircuts, raised money, and then went to downtown Raleigh to have their heads shaved. Over the years, Team TACKLE has impacted hundreds of families and been a part of several schools. Team TACKLE has raised over $298,000 in its existence!

As a reminder, cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Thanks again for your ongoing support!
