I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Family, friends, loved ones, and acquaintances: Currently, approximately 80% of children and adolescents who develop different cancer diagnoses will be cured. That is such a wonderful thing. But, approximately 20% of these children and adolescents die of their disease. That is heartbreaking. Truly. We in the childhood cancer community want to do better. It will only be good enough when 100% of these brave individuals are cured of their life-threatening disease processes. Guess what? You can help. St. Baldrick's is the largest private funder of childhood cancer research. One of the ways that St. Baldrick's raises the money is via head-shaving events. "Shavees" pester their friends and family to donate money to St. Baldrick's. In exchange, the "Shavee" gets their head shaved. I have previously been a "Shavee" for 13 previous events. I know that I do not have a lot to offer.  I have not had locks in many years.  My before picture and after picture look very similar. One might say that I am simply getting a free haircut.   But... Nonetheless, your dollars will go to a very worthwhile goal. I challenge you to give $25 to St. Baldrick's.  Twenty-five dollars times a whole lot of people equals a crap-ton of money!  So, let's go!
