Welcome back everyone to our 9th year of "BRAVE THE SHAVE" Its was a difficult journey in the early years 1-3, but easier now & totally rewarding because of your generous support to end childhood cancer. Unfortunately the fight continues so I've set a lofty goal of $10,000 which is about 11% more than what we did last year $9,250. If you could kindly spread the word or let me know who might be interested I'm sure we can make our number. I'm still also willing to part with my MUSTACHE (57 years old) its never been shaved off. Looking for that Corporate or Big Whale Donors for $10,000 (only $175.00yr) They can film it, They can shave it, use it in an ad, I'll check that out with St Baldrick's but I think it will pass muster if the check clears. lol https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/1151882/2025
NOW THE ST BALDRICK'S PORTION OF OUR OPENING PITCH
A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. This year, I’m joining thousands of others to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.
Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
