I’ve decided to shave my head because cancer has deeply affected my family and my life. I lost a family member to this disease, and another is currently battling it, enduring unimaginable struggles every day. Witnessing their strength and resilience has inspired me to take this small step to raise awareness and show support. Shaving my head is a symbolic gesture—it doesn’t even come close to 1% of the challenges that kids with cancer face, but it’s my way of standing in solidarity with them and honoring their fight. For me, it’s about showing that their courage doesn’t go unnoticed and reminding others of the importance of supporting those going through this battle. Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. This isn’t about me—it’s about them. By donating, you aren’t helping me; you’re helping these incredible kids in their battle against cancer, giving them the support they need to overcome challenges they should never have to face. Can you help? Together, we can make a difference!!
