I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I’m excited to raise money for the cause of combating childhood cancer in memory of Campbell Hoyt.

It’s a little nerve racking to be going bald. When I was young, I grew my hair out past my shoulders because my Grandpa had the same style and I wanted to look like him. It wasn’t until he was diagnosed with cancer that he had to let go of his hair. My mom cried when he had to shave it off.

I had long hair for a while after and only cut it short recently. However, I have never been bald besides the time I was a baby.

While I did not know her personally, I know the impact Campbell Hoyt’s passing had on our school and town. I hope you will donate so we can help those still in the battle. Thank you!
