I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Knights of Columbus Father Perez Council #1444

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

I am shaving my head in memory of my daughter Emily Beazley, forever 12 years old. Science failed her and the countless other children who pass from cancer each year.  Emily had t-cell lymphoblastic non-hodgkins lymphoma but was on a leukemia protocol that treated her with poisons that go back to the 1960s. Emily's dream was to create a foundation that would raise money for cancer research in the hopes of finding a cure. Unfortunately, she passed away. We continue that fight in her memory.

Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.

Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
