I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

When my daughter Madison was in treatment we were introduced to St. Baldrick's - we participated in a shave that included 27 nurses and doctors - it was a moving experience.  I said at that time when we were on "the other side" of treatment I would do something to bring awareness to children's cancers- St. Baldrick's was the answer.

It is year 10 and I have been able to raise close to $90,000 over the years with your support.  I want to exceed $100,000 this year with the support and generosity of people like you.

Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.  Our daughter has had a second type of cancer since her initial diagnosis.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Remember, my hair grows back - the donations you make bring life saving treatments to kids and families - let's change lives together.
