I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

What could be more important than saving the life of a child? At our event, some folks will shave their heads – and others will keep the hair they have and put their hearts into supporting childhood cancer research. Me? I plan on donating my hair (just not getting shaved bald!). But whatever folks choose to do, the funds go to St Baldrick's Foundation to fund crucial research grants. Grants to fund better treatments, and better cures, and for our event, to fund research into survivorship--96% of childhood cancer survivors experience side effects, some severe, from the treatments they received. During the pandemic, donations were down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants. I want to make sure kids know we care. I want more research to save lives. Please support me with a donation, or by creating your fundraiser. Thank you!
