I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This is my 12th year participating in this fundraiser that is close to my heart.  With your generous donations, I have raised almost 3,000 dollar to support this group. The first time I shaved my head was not long after my son, Kaden, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.  The doctors recommended we shave Kaden’a head before he began to lose his hair.  To convince him to do it, I agreed to shave my head also.  It was a very emotional moment as we shaved his head and afterward he looked at me and “Dad it’s your turn and giggled”, it brought some much need levity in the moment.  I am proud to say Kaden is now in college and is a great young adult attending the university of Wyoming.

Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.

Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
