I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why do this? Besides for the hundreds of helpless stories you hear of children who are dealing with cancer at a young age, this subject hit very close to home for the Brown/Dalbec family. Almost 16 years ago, my niece, Samantha, was diagnosed and treated for a rare eye cancer called retinoblastoma (you can read more by clicking on the "Children Honored" tab at the link below). Having to deal with the diagnoses and treatment is a true challenge for any parent, family member and close friend to bear. This is where the St. Baldrick's Foundation comes in... I am asking for your support through a sponsorship/donation to see my head be shaved bald. I know, I know...though it might be a scary sight to envision...I am doing this for Samantha and the other children diagnosed with cancer every year.
