I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Just One bite

Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?

I have done this for many years, because children's cancer has always had a special place in my heart. but until last year it was just a disease.. One I knew that should be destroyed but hadn't affected my life. That was until my sister in law told me devastating news. My 13 year old nephew, Dylan, had cancer.. He fell into an ice fishing hole, went in because his knee swelled. Came out with Osteo Sarcoma...

This diagnosis changed him, but his strength has carried him through. Cancer robbed him of his dream to join the military. Cancer robbed him of a whole year of his life.. a birthday with other kids there. It robbed him of a limb. But it did not slow him down. It did not take the joy in his eyes. It did not take his optimism and his creativity.

If cancer hasn't stopped him. Its up to us to stop cancer from robbing one more child of one more dream.
