Today is the day I shave my head and maybe my moustache. This is the 25th year of St. Baldrick's and it is my 14th year shaving my head for this cause. Even through my cancer battle I still shaved my head cause the kids come first. Even though I have won my battle and reached my goal, the war still goes on. It doesn't take much to help out. Please open your hearts and your wallets and support a wonderful cause. It's all for the kids.
AND, as ADDED ENCOURAGEMENT, if I should double my goal I will shave my moustache of 20+ years.
I am not asking folks to donate $100.00(but if you did great), but 10, 20,25 dollars adds up. Think a child with cancer then open your heart and your wallet and help me reach my goal.
Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.
Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
