Update: The PROs let me know that my Ponytail was ONE INCH TOO SHORT to make a solid 12" length required for "Wigs for Kids". Rather than not provide a wig for a cancer survivor I delayed the head shaving several months. We are now planning a party at my house Sunday September 29th. Party with food and a band. One pm until about six pm. Ponytail cut and head shave slated for around 3 or 4 pm! Please join us and bring a dish or drinks to share. Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?My son Hunter and I first started doing this back in 2000 at AJ Rocco's in Cleveland OH. We did it for years (check out the pics below), it's time to do it again. Covid let me grow my hair long enough to also donate a ponytail with my daughter Kara to https://www.wigsforkids.org/ (check them out too). It's simple and easy to donate and it goes to basic cancer research to help improve and save kids' lives from the trauma of childhood cancer.PLEASE donate and please forward my message to your circle of friends who may or may not know me. Share a "Kirk Olsen" story if you think it will help, everybody's got one. Best story wins a prize!Embrace the Bald, Save a Child. Help me make it happen! Thanks, "Cap'n" KirkPS Do not forget matching gifts to which you might be eligible!
