I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives. My dad passed away from cancer when I was 15, and it was a hard thing to lose him at a young age. Being able to just help give back by simply donating my hair makes me feel better and like I am honoring my dad. I know he would be proud. Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that. Be the change that they need. Be the one to take the step and donate. One person can make a difference. One person can help and change the life of a child.
