Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
Hey everyone! It’s that time of year where we can all come together and agree on one thing; fuck cancer. Cancer is a terrible thing to go through especially so early on in life. That is why I am pledging to shave my head in an effort to raise more money to fight this terrible disease. Every dollar counts and is very appreciated! I think we can all this is a wonderful cause to rally behind and spread some positivity with going into 2024.
Thank you for taking the time to view my page and my mission statement and hope you have a happy and healthy 2024!
Edit it to add: We smashed my original goal thank you so much everyone! Huge shout out to everyone who donated already to make it happen! I’ve moved the goal post to see if we can contribute even more as every dollar counts!

A challenge among friends 25 years ago has become the largest volunteer movement to Conquer Kids’ Cancer. This year, I’m joining thousands of others to shave my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.
Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
