I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Bald Pigeons

"Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives."

This is a wonderful opportunity to easily and generously support the cause of eliminating childhood cancer. I hope my enthusiasm to do something ridiculous gets you enthusiastic to give, knowing we should not "lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where you treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:16)."

Revelation 21:3, 4 says, "'Behold, the dwelling place of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people. God himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.'"

While this earth will never be heaven (and we should never expect it to be) it is everyone's duty to try to make it a little more like that glorious city. So thank you for your donation! I look forward to feeling cold around my ears and on my head as this Wisconsin winter comes to a close.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
