I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Kylee's Wish

Hello everyone - I'm at it again this year (my 15th year!), shaving my head to raise money for children's cancer research. I'm shaving in honor of several people who are very dear to me: my niece, and two of my former high school soccer players who I coached for several years.

My niece, Eliana, spent way too much time in and out of chemotherapy to treat a brain tumor starting when she was only a year old. She was in remission for 4 years but another brain tumor showed up and she’s had to not only undergo many more grueling treatments, but relearn how to speak, swallow, and walk again. She's now 14 and still going strong.

One of my "soccer daughters", Katie, came down with a rare form of cancer several years ago, her senior year in high school. She made it through a year-long chemotherapy treatment and was declared cancer-free through the following year, but it came raging back and she's been undergoing more treatments (most recently a stem cell transplant) to continue fighting it.

The other "soccer daughter" of mine, Ava, was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago and is now recovering after treatment and a knee replacement.

Please join me in helping to raise money for children's cancer research, and help these girls (and all others!) in fighting this devastating disease.

Thank you!

Peter
