I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My name is Bianca and I am a junior at NNHS; I'm shaving my head to support my dad and raise money for pediatric cancer!

In December, my dad was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer which quickly made me realize how short life was. He just completed his first round of chemo, and to support him the rest of the way, I am shaving my head!

My family has a long history of cancer so we have always been involved in awareness campaigns, donations, and volunteer work. My dad especially has always been a big advocate for pediatric cancer, and my participation in St. Baldrick's means so much to both my dad and myself.

A cancer diagnosis can affect an entire community of people which is why St. Baldrick's strives to support patients and families with your donation. Please consider a donation today and thank you for your support! - Bianca G
