I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research and humanitarian aid for my 30th birthday. Please read here: https://medium.com/@kundrmon/30-alive-d3dc8c201d74Over the past few years, I’ve seen the people I care for the most suffer through treatment for cancer. I can bet almost everyone reading this has either suffered from this illness or supported someone through their battle. Maybe it’s someone you know distantly. Maybe it’s someone you truly care for. And maybe it’s someone you love—it’s a disease that affects us all at one point in our life. I’ve decided to do this to stand in solidarity with those that have suffered from cancer, either directly or indirectly. To me, this symbolic gesture is an act of love and respect for those that have battled cancer. They, like many others, have experienced more and persevered through more than most do in a lifetime. They have showed strength, hope, and light through life’s darkest moments.Pooja, I would like to honor you, you’re courage, and your beautiful spirit. We will always keep you in our memories and by our side ❤
