I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi everyone! My name is Sloane and I am running for a reason with St.Baldrick's at the Eugene Half Marathon!! Why you might ask? Well my best friend Mar (pictured in the lifejacket and goggles) was diagnosed with metastatic Ewing's sarcoma at the age of 13. She fought a long and courageous battle until her passing in 2022. Mar was and continues to be an ambassador for St.Baldricks and I want to keep her drive and love for this charity going!! 


St. Baldrick's is a charity near and dear to my heart because they help fund childhood cancer research grants in the U.S. and around the world. They continue to put the time and money in to help find a cure to this devastating disease. I have teamed up with them to help to raise some money and get the word out about how wonderful of a charity they truly are. 

Feel free to donate as much or as little as you please! Every cent will be going directly to St.Baldricks. 


WOO! Lets run a half marathon and raise some money :)
