Why am I shaving my head, and why should you care?
I’m shaving my head to help support childhood cancer. I hope and dream we will live in a world where cancer does not exist. I am a Sophomore now, but in 8th grade my mom had a battle with breast cancer. We were lucky to have endless support from our family & friends, so I would like to pay it forward and hope nobody else has to go through what my family did. I was with my mom when she shaved her head, so being a shavee for this event is an honor.
Please help me raise money for our
St. Baldrick’s event at Mount Carmel High School. Let’s knock out cancer!!
Thank you,
Declan Gill
Did you know, 1 in 5 kids diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive? For those who do, more than 96% have severe or life-threatening conditions by the time they are 50.
Each shaved head, every dollar donated, creates a ripple effect of progress for kids with cancer.
Your gift will give kids and their families hope, supporting the best research across the country, through the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
Together, let’s give these kids the lifetime they deserve. Thank you for your support!
